Job Description

This is a private group with multiple Dialysis centers. The Nephrologist will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to individuals with acute and chronic kidney diseases, including the management of hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and complex renal conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, overseeing dialysis therapies, and coordinating care with primary care clinicians, surgeons, and other specialists. role involves participation in This is a full-time, on-site role based in Knoxville, TN, requiring active participation in hospital and clinic activities. This is mostly office based.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in Medicine and Nephrology, with the ability to manage a wide range of kidney-related conditions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Dialysis and Hemodialysis management, including prescribing treatments and monitoring patient response.
• Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology and completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship.
• Current or eligible medical license in the state of Tennessee, with a commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in an academic medical center environment.
• Interest in teaching, clinical research, or quality improvement initiatives is beneficial.
