Shanker Executive Functioning and Tutoring provides an exemplary standard of coaching and education support from highly qualified tutors to support students with learning differences in the DC Metro Area.
We are looking for engaging and experienced tutors to join our team!
Our ideal candidate has an advanced degree in child development/early childhood education/child psychology or similar field, and/or can demonstrate significant experience working with school-aged children and children with ADHD, Autism, Learning disabilities, and other academic delays.
Coaching and Tutoring sessions are provided to students both virtually and in person. We are currently looking specifically for tutors who are willing and able to travel to students' locations for weekly meetings.
We are a growing business, and we hope to find a candidate willing to grow with us. The current role is a 1099 independent contractor position. No specific number of hours is guaranteed - hours are based on student demand - but we are consistently building our client list, and anticipate being able to provide a full caseload within a reasonable amount of time.
