We are training a group of residents to conduct research in their local neighbourhoods.
Involving community researchers is particularly important for this project which is seeking to engage with people with lived experience of the struggle against poverty. The researchers will be meeting regularly for a sustained period of time to explore experiences and what they would like to communicate about poverty in their area. We hope that training residents in research skills will not only build their skills base but also enable them to be commissioned by others in the future.
