Local Development

We are evaluating a Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) Programme.

CLLD is a new way of delivering local development using structural funds from Europe, including the European Social Fund and the European Regional Development Fund. In England CLLD is managed by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). Over the next two-years we will be evaluating a CLLD project in Yorkshire.

Our evaluation covers process (an assessment of how the project is being implemented and if it is being delivered as was intended at the outset), impact (an assessment of the achievements of the project on beneficiaries – including the social value being delivered), and economic (how much the project costs and if it is offering value for money). We will be producing an interim and final report setting out our findings.
